Privacy Policy
Last updated October 15, 2026
TPM Exam Prep is operated by Trilogy Performance Media, LLC ("TPM," "we," "us"). We know your information matters, and we try to collect as little as we need. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Waitlist details. Your email address, and if you choose to share them, your first name, the exam you're preparing for and the month you plan to test. We also record that you agreed to receive emails, the wording you agreed to and when.
- Free diagnostic. If you take the free diagnostic without an account, we store your answers, your score and how long you took, so we can score it and improve our questions. We don't ask for your name or email address, and to limit abuse we store only a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your connection's IP address.
- Account details. If you create an account, your email address and basic profile information. We sign you in with a one-time email link, so we don't store a password for you.
- Study activity. Your answers, practice results and progress, so we can show your progress and suggest what to study next.
- Purchases. When paid passes launch, payments will be handled by our payment processor. We'll receive confirmation of your purchase, but we won't receive or store your full card number.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting providers keep basic logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability. To limit spam on the waitlist and the free diagnostic, we store a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your connection's IP address rather than the address itself.
How we use it
- To run the service, including signing you in, saving your progress and providing support.
- To email you about founding pricing, launch news and study tips if you agreed to that. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To send important service messages, such as sign-in links and purchase receipts.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and improve our content and features.
- To meet legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to make the site work. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. If we add privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics in the future, we'll update this policy first.
How we share information
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run TPM Exam Prep and who may use it only on our behalf, such as our website host (Netlify), our database and sign-in provider (Supabase), our email delivery provider (Resend) and, once checkout opens, our payment processor. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for the waitlist. We keep account and study information while your account is active and for a reasonable time afterward, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we need to keep it for legal reasons.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by writing to support@tpmexamprep.com. Every marketing email will also include an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under state law, and we'll honor valid requests regardless of where you live. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children
TPM Exam Prep is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you're under 18, please use TPM Exam Prep with the permission of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls on our database, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security, but we work hard to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date above and, when appropriate, let you know by email or on the site.
