NREMT AEMT exam prep

Walk into your AEMT exam confident and ready

Our AEMT prep follows the national exam closely, from airway and cardiology to trauma, medical emergencies, operations and clinical judgment. You will work through realistic scenarios with explanations for every answer choice, then take a full-length timed practice exam with the same length and time limit as the real test.

What's included

  • 415 original AEMT questions across the practice banks, the full-length exam and the drills, each with an explanation for every answer choice
  • Select-all-that-apply questions in the practice banks and the full-length exam, so you can practice the multiple-response format as well as standard multiple choice
  • Build list, drag-and-drop and options box (table) questions, the technology-enhanced formats the real exam uses, in the practice banks, the full-length exam and a 20-question drill
  • A full-length timed practice exam that mirrors the real test: 135 questions in 3 hours, with select-all-that-apply, build list, drag-and-drop and options box items mixed in
  • A free 25-question diagnostic across all five content areas
  • Practice banks for every area: airway and ventilation, cardiology and resuscitation, trauma, medical and obstetric emergencies, AEMT pharmacology and fluid math, EMS operations and clinical judgment
  • A targeted 30-question drill on clinical judgment, from recognizing cues to leading the scene
  • Six months of access from the day you buy, with one payment and no subscription

Every question is original and written to the official content outline for this exam, with an explanation for every answer. These are practice questions, not real exam questions. Not sure yet? Take the free NREMT AEMT diagnostic first.

Questions

Is this a subscription?

No. The NREMT AEMT 6-Month Pass is a single payment of $9.99. It gives you six months of access and never renews.

Are these real National Registry questions?

No. Every question is original and written to the published AEMT examination specifications, with an explanation for every answer choice.

How long is the practice exam?

It matches the real exam: 135 questions with a 3-hour timer. Like the real test, it covers every content area in one sitting.

Do you include select-all-that-apply questions?

Yes. The real AEMT exam includes multiple-response items, so about one in ten questions on our full-length practice exam is select-all-that-apply, and the practice banks have more. You need every correct choice and no incorrect ones to get credit, just as you would on the real exam.

Do the questions follow my local protocols?

Our questions follow the national EMS scope of practice for Advanced EMTs, which is what the national exam tests. Your local protocols may allow more or less, so always follow your medical director in the field.

Do you include build list, drag-and-drop and options box questions?

Yes. The real AEMT exam uses these technology-enhanced formats, so our full-length practice exam mixes them in, and the practice banks and a 20-question drill have more. Like the real exam, each one is scored all or nothing: you need the whole order, every placement or every row of the table right to get credit. You can answer with touch, a mouse or the keyboard.
